Christmas 2019

2020 Christmas looks a lot different than its earlier versions…. Thankfully, we still have our health and we are taking in the plentiful sunshine in our new (temporary) bricks-and-sticks residence, Colorado. Last year, after a couple of blissful weeks at the beach after Thanksgiving, we packed up the RV and headed back to Tennessee to surprise David’s family with our visit for Christmas.

We joined friends in celebrations, and walked once again through Sequoyah Hills Park.

We had to take a quick trip to Market Square, downtown Knoxville, and check out the ice skating rink and decorations.

We stopped by Erin’s Meadow Herb Farm and shared stories, cookies, and a cup of hot tea with others.

One of the down sides of RV travel is being away from friends and family. Also, I love decorating the house for the holidays, especially for Christmas, but the RV has a limited capacity to accommodate my decorating “needs.”

We were glad to share some Christmas food and cheer with other fellow travelers while we were staying at Racoon Valley RV park.

Having had our fill of family and friends’ love to hold us over for a while, we headed out to complete the southern loop of our RV tour. And what more fun place to start the new year than NOLA? Come back and read all about our Cajun New Year. Meanwhile, stay healthy and …

Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!
